Nature Camp:  Living in the Longleaf

Focuses on one of the most endangered habitats in the United States, the Longleaf Pine Savanna. Students will learn through hands-on activities immersed in some of the oldest Longleaf stands in the state. Each day, we will learn about the habitats surround south Mississippi and compare these beautiful places to other habitats around the world. Located at The Lake Thoreau Environmental Center.

K-4 th grade students will participate in our Summer Bridge program where students will review previous skills learned and be introduced to skills for the upcoming year.
